I hold a clean international driving license, and a FELASA-certified Home Office license (‘article 9’) that allows me to work, and conduct experiments, with vertebrates.

I am experienced in disseminating my work to the general public, by means of public lectures for amateur bird organisations, and newspaper and radio interviews for national (e.g., NRC, Algemeen Dagblad, Vara Vroege Vogels) and international (e.g., Scienceline, Climatewire) popular media.
